Festivals like Diwali, Christmas and New Year are celebrated around the whole world with lots of fireworks and it gives us pleasure and enjoyment. In every festival fireworks brighten up with variant colors and designs. Fireworks add more joy to our festivals, but alternatively the smoke released by fireworks contains many deadly poisonous chemicals which are very harmful and they may be dangerous for people with breathing disorders especially asthma patients. Asthma patients need special attention with fireworks because extreme smoke may prove to be fatal. The harmful chemicals released in the atmosphere may cause even asthma attack.
The harmful chemicals released by Fireworks are lead, magnesium, zinc, copper and they pose serious breathing ailments to a healthy person also. To avoid smoke, asthmatics should always maintain some distance with the fireworks. Symptoms like feeling restless, coughing, difficulty in talking shows that there is a threat to asthma patient. Very rapid breathing, thinning collar and upper body can be symptoms of asthma attack. But many of us do not realize that our pleasure could be life threatening. To avoid all such problems asthmatics should always keep their inhaler while going in misty or smoky areas.
