Fireworks are harmful for health

Some people are very crazy about fireworks and some are not. People who actively support fireworks must know their hazardous effects too. We all love the sparkling lights, the fun but we forget the fact that a moment of joy and pleasure may cause minor or major health risks to us as well as others. Some of the dangerous substances used in fireworks are radioactive; these radioactive substances may cause cancer, breathing problem, stomach problem, heart problems, anemia, birth defects and few more critical health issues.

Unhealthy people are more prone to the harmful effects of fireworks while healthy people generally remain unaffected. But the firework can also affect the healthy people if they come in contact with harmful gases twice or thrice in a year. Not only the smoke, the sound produced by fireworks are also very loud and it may cause hearing problems, heart attack, respiratory problems, high blood pressure and may disturb your sleep. It may also cause temporary hearing loss for few seconds. Pregnant women, kids, asthmatics, heart patients, old people, people who have chronic illness are at more risk to the harmful effects of the fireworks.
